Gulf Coast Oil Spill Endangers 13 Lives
New York Times reported that late last year, an oil platform caught on fire endangering 13 men who were on board. Though none of the men were seriously injured, there had been confusion as to how the spill started. In an earlier report, there was a confirmation that there was oil around the platform, though later reports had a response contrary to the initial update. The men who were on board the ship were rescued by the evening with minor injuries.
